I haven't seen any indication as to what it actually is, what it costs, etc. My understanding is that it's a scaled down version of Gateway with data transformation utilities. I'd love to see a copy though see how it works and what it does.

Hi! Gateway is not involved in this solution. The Synchrony components involved in this solution are: Gateway Interchange (the UI), Integrator (for data transformation), Synchrony Database (optional, but there must be a database), Messaging, special B2Bi Express Server package, and Mapping Services. There is a server and client installation and both have their own DVD and use the Synchrony Installer.
