Using Datamapper maps Integrator v3.4.1

I'm trying to use a Datamapper map in a simple Integrator v3.4.1 integration as a "Datamapper map stage" in a sequential activity as follows:

Receive Activity --> Sequential Activity --> Send Actvity

The input message is received by the Receive Activity but it's stuck at the Sequential Activity without any errors (visible in the Message Log). Does anyone know why?
