I have been working on creating some new dashboards with graphics. I have been struggling to figure out a way to put a graphic in dashboard that is not a URL Image, as defined by the BaseShape-ImageZone Graphic Object in Composer design. The URL link requires a user to put an additional UID/PW to get the graphic at the URL displayed. If someone changes the URL of the graphic on the webpage, then the link would fail completely without my knowledge.

I would like to attach a GIF to the BaseShape-ImageZone Graphic Object. If anyone can provide direction, I would very much appreciate it.

Hi Russ,
Try placing the *.gif or *.png file in the folder www\web\sentinel\background\objects under the Sentinel installation folder and specifying the URL in the format http://<Sentinel Host name>:1309/web/sentinel/background/objects/<image name>.gif in BaseShape-ImageZone Graphic Object properties using Composer.

Thank you very much. This does solve the issue and allow me to use .gif files in a graphic that does not require a webpage url.
