How to run XIB 2.x.x in another machine |

would like to share with all of you in case you need to move XIB instance to another machine
1. Goto $CORE_LOCAL/bin/core_setup Modify all hardcoded values, only required... 2. Goto $CORE_LOCAL/config/sysman/sysman.cfg Modify all sysmanpool to the new prefix. 3. Start XIB with core_servers start -S, and connect with client (if possible) 4. Modify $CORE_DATA/starter/starter.cfg to have the new machine hostname everywhere 5. Goto Task Manager, change System Task, first Configuration->Host name, and then the ports under System Porter, and commit. 6. Clean out $CORE_DATA/porter/porter.mem from old ports 7.
