Gateway FTP connecting to VSFTPd server / tls

We have another part of our organisation that uses a VSFTPd server that they want to use to connect to someone elses Synchrony Gateway v6.11.4 FTP client.

Has anyone used the Gateway FTP client connector for connections with a VSFTPd server running on Linux over an encrypted TLS channel and Mutual Authentication?

To configure mutual authentication you need to set the Authentication Type as "TLS_AUTH_MANDATORY" in the outgoing tls security profile.
