XIB GUI Hanging, XIB Hangs when searching transmission logs

When searching the XIB Transmission logs for an wide range of data the XIB GUI hangs and crashes. Is this experienced elsewhere and if so what can we do to avoid the problem as it is essentail that we can search transmission logs during peak times of the day

are you using XIB 2.x.x ?

what is the SP level ?
