Hello everyone,
I have a problem with a 6.9.1 Gateway server when i tries to enable Sentinel link with it. It worked fine the first day, but now, my log file is fulfilled by these messages : 20081124 153833 062 SUP I CPROCUP 'sentinel' connector process number 0 now UP (pid=22715) 20081124 154142 012 JCT W JOBEXIT [Q000002] Job [q_tracker -v] pid 22715 exited with status 1 20081124 154142 063 SUP I CPROCDOWN 'sentinel' connector process number 0 now DOWN (pid=22715) 20081124 154152 061 SUP I ST-CPROC Starting 'sentinel' connector process number 0 20081124 154152 062 SUP I CPROCUP 'sentinel' connector process number 0 now UP (pid=22846) I have checked lot of things, and I don't know what exactly cause these messages. Sentinel is now empty, it cannot grab the data of the Gateway, and I don't knwo why. If anybody has an idea, it will well appreciate. Regards, Michael |

Hi Daffy,
try to see if the tracker.pmq is full. If it is, you can extend it by doing this: $> pmqctl enlarge /path/to/gateway/run_time/data/tracker.pmq 500000000 To see the syntax of the pmqctl tool, look at the pmqctl.txt file. I hope it helps. - Samir |

Hello Daffy,
Theses messages mean your sentinel connector is looping ( stop / start ) Most of the time it's due to : - An error into your configuration: Sentinel Server or Event Router are no more reacheable -> Test you connectivity with a telnet < sentinel server > < sentinel listening port > - The sentinel process cannot write anymore into his output file ( run_time/tmp/Q000002 ) -> Check the last lines of this file to eventually find out some errors. -> I don't know your OS, but some UNIX have file size limitation that can explain why the process cannot write anymore into his file ( you can try to clean up this file ) If despite these advices you can not solve your issue I invite you to open a support ticket on support.axway.com Raphael |

Ok Guys, thanks for the help.
It was only the connectivity between the Gateway and Sentinel product. Regards, Michael |
